Anxiety, excitability. Inhibits re-uptake of neurotransmitters ie serotonin and
melatonin
BHP specific, for depression associated with menopause (menopausal neurosis)
Colds/flu, coughs, gastritis, peptic ulcer, diarrhoea, oesophagitis, neuralgia including
shingles, neuroses, sciatica, fibrositis, headaches, migraine, dysmenorrhoea
Cold sores, decreases growth of H. pylori
Can be used for bedwetting
Topically: Wounds, burns, contusions, bruises, viral skin conditions,
dermatitis, ulcers and bells palsy |

patients), warfarin, steroids, protease inhibitors; may interfere with many other drugs
